At 6:00 pm, dancers streamed into the MPR which, was festively decorated with pink and red hearts, paper flowers, multi-colored lights and a photo booth. Children were given a glow in the dark bracelet to light their way to the dance floor and parents could purchase food, drinks, and colorful light-up items to enhance their outfits.
Mr. Keiber, one of Maxwell’s kindergarten teachers, was host and MC, ‘spinning’ dance tunes and videos for everyone making the evening a fantastic event filled with laughter and joy.
A big thank you goes out to Alma Romero, Maxwell’s PTA President for organizing such a wonderful community event and to all of the parent volunteers who helped decorate and sell food.
